The Events host hotel is nestled on a 1000m, crescent-shaped beach on Jamaica’s northern coast, Iberostar is truly paradise found. This spectacular, luxury resort features pristine ocean views, Grand Spanish architecture surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and the sparkling Caribbean Sea beyond. This one transition race with have an amazing beach start and finish and finish will be held on Iberostar Beach.
THE SWIM: The swim starts at Iberostar Beach. The resort area boasts a beautiful white sand beach which extends approximately 1000 m which plays the perfect host for the 1500m distance swim course
THE BIKE: The 40k bike course will be one lap of lightning flat, fast course. The Course will take riders from Iberostar, through Jamaica Elegant Corridor, Rose Hall and finally ending at the Iberostar.
THE RUN: 10k run course takes place around the property of Iberostar finally finishing on the Iberostar beach. Get ready for the spectacular undulating views and breathtaking vistas.
The event has received global recognition and rated as one of the top 100 triathlons in the world by Triathlete Magazine. Additionally, Jamaica Triathlon has been rated second in the sub-category of the “Best Vacation Triathlons”.
